
Work history of Yolandie Mostert Department of Finance 1991
In 1991 Yolandie decided to go help the poor people in the country and thus applied for a job at the management department in the government, she also realised by helping implementing micro-computerised processes in the government will have an effect on the carbon footprint and thus our planet will stay saved for another few years.
Yolandie started working in 1991 at the South African government at the Head Office management department. During the time 1991 - 1999 she achieved 5 performance awards for providing outstanding work and increasing productivity in the government by implementing micro computerized systems into the government. Yolandie was also one of the first software trainers and designed the first software training manuals for Department of Finance, being an activist of using computerized technology to improve services . She was also part of the first team of system designers that created the first micro computerised systems and she designed several systems to improve productivity in the government. She influenced the mangers to implement network processing for the micro-computerised systems and create more computerized systems to further reduce the carbon footprint and increase government productivity.
1993 – 1999 During this time Yolandie was appointed highly confidential important government projects that she had to complete in a short amount of time, that she always managed to complete professional and on time
Yolandie always did proper research to ensure that cost effective quality IT technology gets implemented and negotiated good pricing with the vendors
Yolandie also ensured that all accounts from the management department delegated to her got paid on time
Yolandie was also part of the Management Information System team that provided knowledge management to the commissioner on a monthly basis and ensured that all this information is done on time in an effective computerised format.
1991 – 2004 During this time Yolandie created several computerized systems to improve productivity in the government, and proposed many good ideas to improve the services and ensure that there is no wasting of funding and time in the government.
During this time she influenced the Government managers to implement marketable salaries for government employees and agreed to work overtime to help get the project started and completed as quickly as possible.
During 1997/1998 Yolandie was supporting the Head Office computer training department and implemented the SARS Microsoft in-house training centre to help save government funds
During this time, Yolandie was managing the team to ensure that all the work gets done on time and supported the trainers by providing them with the necessary training to ensure that they can do an effective job. Yolandie also designed the Microsoft Excel training manuals for the government.
Yolandie also managed the Microsoft training for the Gauteng region from 1999 – 2004 and trained thousands of learners in Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel PowerPoint, Access and Projects and also supported the Pretoria Training centre during that time. Yolandie closely worked with the managers at the regional offices to ensure that priority training needs for the offices gets completed first and also created space for other employees who wanted to attend training for personal career development.
During the time Yolandie was working at the government, she worked overtime on many crisis management projects, and although she never got paid overtime for all her hard work and had to work many late evenings and weekends to help managers getting the work done on time, she always managed to do a professional job.
Yolandie also supported the change of business language from Afrikaans to English to ensure more effective communication in the organisation
During this time, Yolandie was also an activist in supporting brown managers and other black/brown people that are of different races and supported their personal development and even requested from management to employee brown/black trainers.
Even though some people stated that Yolandie must not waste her time training black/brown people since they said they are too stupid to learn, Yolandie has proven them wrong and trained many black/brown people, even when Yolandie’s traveling allowance from the government was not paid in on time to go visit the Black regional office’s Yolandie used her own personal funds at that time to ensure that the training gets done on time.
Yolandie is a good person with a good heart and believe that all people have human rights, regardless of what race they are and have supported all hard working good people that needed her help, to help them achieve their personal and business goals
Yolandie have a charismatic leadership style and everyone she was working with always felt comfortable with asking her for advice and help them to sort out their problems
Regardless of what official position she was working in, she always managed to influence the managers to support her goals to implement more effective processes to improve productivity in the government and save government funds by implementing effective processes and buying cost effective products.

Even though Yolandie is no longer employed by the government and is currently working in the private sector and have developed several effective training manuals and have published them at QualityTraining.Yolasite.com. She is still an activist to support poor people and have created several training manuals that she is selling for poor people at discounted prices to try and support those in need. These training manuals are downloadable in pdf format, one training manuals cost only $1.40. Although these manuals are of excellent quality it is provided at reduced prices, to help educate poor people.
Yolandie also spends several hours a week helping an orphan boy with his education, he’s mom died of cancer treatment and Yolandie is trying to generate funds through her book sales to get funds to help this child
